Juvenile paragraphs in political journalism.

From an article by Jon Martin and Carol Lee at Politico, actual quote:

“How can you spend hundreds of millions of dollars on contraceptives?” Boehner asked. “How does that stimulate the economy?”

Boehner said congressional Republicans are also concerned about the size of the package.

Strangely, I think it doesn't actually help to not know how to pronounce the minority leader's name.

yeah but if people are having babies/abortions/STDs they're spending money! and isn't that supposed to be a good thing during times of economic crisis?

I saw that clip but apparently I needed it spelled out for it to be this funny.

At the time I did say "well it stimulates something" though. :D
